Processing Data and Files Stored by You at Picpee

In addition to personal information, we may also process files, data, and content you store on our systems for the following purposes:

  • Extracting aggregated non-personal data: Such as general location information, demographics, or usage trends for analytics.

NOTE: Users may refuse to allow the use of data for the above purposes without affecting the quality of the Core Service.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

If your account is canceled or you voluntarily terminate your use of the service, you will have 30 days to download or back up all your data from the Picpee system.

After the above period, we may permanently delete data as part of the system maintenance process, unless the law requires longer retention.

5. When and With Whom We Share Your Information

We only share your personal information when necessary, in strict compliance with our confidentiality principles. Sharing is always done with qualified parties, with a binding agreement, and for a specific, legitimate purpose.

1. Sharing with Third Party Service Providers

We may share your personal information with third party service providers, contractors, agents, or partners (collectively, “third parties”) to perform certain tasks on our behalf, such as:

  • Technical support, hosting, and system maintenance
  • Data analysis and performance measurement
  • Providing marketing and sales services
  • Processing payments or verifying accounts

All of these third parties are bound by contract to:

  • Process information only in accordance with our instructions
  • Not to share data again without permission
  • Protect data at a level equal to or greater than our policies
  • Delete or return data after the contract ends or upon request

6. How Long We Retain Your Information

We only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide services, fulfill our legal obligations, and achieve the purposes set out in this privacy policy.

We will generally not retain personal information for more than 12 months after your account is terminated, unless a longer period is required by law (for example, for tax, accounting, or legal reasons).

When there is no longer a legitimate business need to process your information, we will either:

  • Delete
  • Anonymize, the personal information
  • Securely store and isolate it from further processing, until it can be deleted in accordance with our regular retention procedures.

We are committed to keeping data in compliance with legal requirements, data minimization, and information security.

7. Information from Minors

We are committed to protecting the privacy of minors and do not actively collect personal data from children under the age of 18. We do not target our services or marketing activities to children under the age of 18.

By using the Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are a parent or legal guardian and have given your consent for a minor under your care to use the Services.

If we discover that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under the age of 13, we will immediately delete such data from our systems. 8. Do Not Track

Some web browsers allow users to enable a "Do Not Track" (DNT) option to opt out of being tracked online by websites and services. However, we do not currently respond to DNT signals from browsers. However, you may still receive communications related to your account or the services you are using.

If you wish to review, update, or terminate your account, you can do so in your account settings. Upon request for account deletion, we will deactivate the deletion of your account and delete the relevant information from our operating systems. However, we will retain some important information for fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

In addition, most web browsers allow you to control the use of cookies. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser, or use the cookie management tools we provide. However, disabling cookies may affect some features of the Service.

11. U.S. Residents Terms

This section applies if you are a permanent resident of the United States, depending on the state in which you live and subject to certain exceptions under the law.
